Embraer Executive Jets
Embraer Executive Jets of Brazil has become a leading manufacturer of executive jets as an outgrowth of its regional jet series. The Legacy series and new Lineage 1000E set new standards for performance and efficiency in the large executive jet market, while the Phenom series provide jet service for 6-11 passengers and crew. The exhibit area was an impressive sight even from a great distance, as in past years. We include the setup and arrival of the jets in this series:
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with campuses in Daytona Beach, FL and Prescott, AZ, is a leading provider of higher education in aviation and other science-centered fields. Since 1926, Embry-Riddle is well known for its Aeronautical Science (flight training) degree program as well as its other aeronautical engineering and research tracks that feed into the nation's aviation career opportunities. Their exhibit included their Cessna 172 and Diamond Twin Star training aircraft:
Epic Aircraft
The Bend, OR based Epic Aircraft has produced the LT series of experimental turboprop personal aircraft, and will soon introduce the new E1000 production aircraft. The design combines excellent performance, safety and modern avionics with a thoughtful interior and cockpit layout. The exhibit included an impressive mockup of the new aircraft as well as a selection of the LT models:
Extra Aircraft
Extra Aircraft was founded by aerobatic pilot Walter Extra to share his passion of aerobatic flying with the rest of the world. Since the 1980s, Extra aircraft have been flown by the legendary Patty Wagstaff and other top-flight aerobatic competitors and airshow pilots. The series comes in single and two-seat models in the current 330SC and LX respectively. The exhibit featured several of the latest models along with Patty Wagstaff and crew Doug Gardner:
