Searey Amphibian
The Searey amphibious aircraft is made by Progressive Aerodyne of Tavares, FL. This popular aircraft is available in light sport and experimental (kit) light sport aircraft models.
Sirius XM Aviation
Sirius XM Aviation provides current weather data to pilots using Garmin and its own receiver units. A subscription service is available for weather and other entertainment packages as well. Parked at the Sirius XM exhibit was the RV-3B "Tsamsiyu" (Warrior).
Skyreach Bushcat
The Skyreach Bushcat is a light sport and experimental (kit) light sport aircraft made in South Africa and marketed in the U.S. by Twin Lakes, WI-based AeroSport. The aircraft comes in conventional gear, tricycle gear and floatplane options and offers excellent short field and off-airport performance. A variety of engine and instrumentation options are also available.
Sonex Aircraft
Sonex Aircraft had another impressive exhibit, with a selection of aircraft types in their light sport aircraft model line. The Sonex, Onex and JSX-2 were prominently displayed and there were many visitors throughout the week. Here we have coverage of the exhibit and some visiting Sonex aircraft.
Sport Performance Aviation
Sport Performance Aviation offers unique aircraft designed with ease of construction and customization in mind. The Panther is a light sport and aerobatic aircraft with folding wings. The Cougar is the two-place version. Corvair engine conversions are also available. The company is based in Green Cove Springs, FL.
Swift Fuels
Swift Fuels again brought in their Cessna 150M with their exhibit. Swift Fuels has been ahead of the curve in formulating aviation fuel in a changing regulatory environment with their unleaded 102 and 94 octane avgas and Swftjet 100% renewable turbine fuel.
