Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: Experimental Aircraft - Introduction

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo has it's roots in the development and promotion of experimental (i.e. homebuilt) aircraft.  Even though EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 featured many types of aircraft, the experimental aircraft industry exhibitors and aircraft construction skill forums and workshop leaders interacted with hundreds of thousands of visitors and participants.

This first feature in The Aero Experience coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 experimental aircraft will include an overview of the types we saw around the grounds from the first weekend to the last day.  We will feature specific aircraft models in future posts this month.
