The first two aircraft types are the Beechcraft King Air and Cessna Citation, two classic general aviation and business aviation crossovers. Most often used in the business sector, the King Air and Citation lead their contemporaries with decades of civil, government and military service.
The Beechcraft King Air models range from the C90 to the 250 and 350 series, each accommodating 8-10 passengers on flights ranging from 1200-1800 miles. Each uses efficient and reliable turboprop power and flies at near jet speeds. Most trips in the King Air are a more practical 600-800 miles and under three hours in length.
The Cessna Citation series has been providing twin jet speed and comfort since the early 1970s when the Series 500 was introduced. Since then, over 7,000 Citations have been delivered. The Citation family ranges from the five-passenger Citation Mustang to the upcoming largest Citation, the Hemisphere. The mid-size, mid-range Citation Latitude has emerged as the current best-selling business jet in its class.
