EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: Warbirds - European Jet Trainers

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesinc.com/Jet warbird trainers are popular for many reasons, including good handling qualities, economical (relatively) operation, sparkling performance at low level, variety of available color schemes and the accommodation for actually training new crews for the type.  Here we feature two European jet trainers, models of which remain in active service in some countries.  The first jet warbird, the Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet, is owned by Mark Peterson of High Flight Aerobatics.  Following the Alpha Jet, several Siai-Marchetti S211 trainers are also included.  They are currently being marketed to civilian owners as a Very Light Jet option.
