The Aero Experience returns to the final month of our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 with a look at warbird trainers. These restored warbirds once served in military service training the pilots that would later either end their military flying career or proceed to advanced or operational training. These warbird trainers have become iconic guests at airports and aviation events across the country. We were fortunate to come across so many examples for this story.
