This
edition of Flying With The Aero
Experience takes us back to June of 2012 in a Piper Cherokee flown by Paul
Voorhees of Big River Aviation. We flew a few patterns around St. Louis
Downtown Airport, passing by the control tower to Runway 5. After takeoff, a
right standard pattern brought us over the Jet Aviation terminal and
surrounding areas on the way back to the runway for touch-and gos. We
eventually taxied back to the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum historic
Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2 before securing the aircraft in its hangar later. Here
are some composite views of the flight from the cockpit and the aircraft taking
off on a flight just prior to this one.
