EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 featured the new T-28 formation team, Trojan Thunder, in airshows throughout the week. The six team members fly their venerable T-28 trainers in formation and precision solo aerobatics, filling the sky with bold color, smoke and the noise from their radial engines that makes everyone take notice. If these particular aircraft look familiar, it may be because we have photographed them in prior years at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and other airshows and fly-ins in the Midwest.
