Piston Aviation Opens New Maintenance Hangar as Part of Second Year Service Expansion Plan

By Carmelo Turdo
Piston Aviation recently began their second year of operation with a major presence at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 representing their Skylist Pro scheduling software, Bristell Midwest and Future Pilots Fund brands. Just a few weeks after returning, Piston Aviation held the grand opening of their new climate-controlled maintenance hangar at Creve Coeur Airport on Saturday. Guests gathered at the Piston Aviation main hangar for food and fellowship before checking out the dedicated maintenance hangar where three aircraft were being prepared for service in the coming week. The two Bristell fleet training aircraft shown were on display as the visitors arived.

The newly-updated maintenance hangar accommodates three aircraft along with the tools and equipment required to accomplish most general aviation aircraft repairs. Maintenance Manager Jason Moellinger and his staff keep the Piston Aviation fleet ready for daily operations and are now taking additional customers, such as the Piper Saratoga shown here. Contact Piston Aviation for scheduling your aircraft for annuals, 50/100-hour inspections, engine and airframe repairs and other aircraft maintenance needs.

During the open house, discovery flights were taken in the Musketeer and Bristell fleet aircraft. At least one guest made a commitment to begin a life-long dream of flight training at Piston Aviation.

We thank Piston Aviation and all who contributed to the success of Saturday's event. Coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 and promotion of Piston Aviation's appearance at the upcoming LSA Expo will be coming soon on The Aero Experience.
