EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Warbirds - European Trainers

The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with this look at European trainers. These aircraft represent successful designs previously used for military pilot training and now operated by civilian owners. Here we feature the DeHavilland Canada Chipmunk, Socata Epsilon, Pilatus P-3, Pilatus PC-9 and Siai-Marchetti S.211 jet. These aircraft represent the development of European trainers from World War II to the 1990s.
