EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Ultralight Area

The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with this look at the Ultralight Area. The Ultralight Area provided a separate place for the display and flying of not only technically classified ultralight aircraft, but also those just heavier light sport, experimental and factory-built models that need only a short runway for takeoff and landing. Here we feature the aircraft on display and those flying demo flights with passengers in the pattern.

Midwest Aviation Sightings Variety Pack

By Fred Harl
The Aero Experience continues to collect a variety of images as we travel throughout the country covering interesting aviation stories. We close the week with a look at some of the aircraft we captured along the way that didn't neatly fit into other recent posts, plus another look at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 airshow performers featured in our introductory post earlier this year (much more coverage of these performers coming soon). We hope you enjoy this little survey!

General Aviation (and More) Two Weeks In Review, Fall Wrap-Up

By The Aero Experience Team
The Aero Experience has had another busy few weeks providing coverage of the Midwest Aviation community. While pursuing these events and stories, we find general aviation aircraft that may be of interest to our audience. In this edition of our general aviation week in review, we go back several weeks to feature general aviation aircraft (and some vintage, warbirds, homebuilts, gyrocopters and ultralights included) from six different Midwest Aviation sites. This will also serve as a fall season wrap-up of our General Aviation Week In Review series for the year.
