By Mark Nankivil
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron held a practice session at their home base, NAS Pensacola, FL last week during a break between airshows. A visit to the area last Tuesday included viewing the team and touring the National Naval Aviation Museum. Here we feature selected formations (with No.7  in the No. 2 spot) and solo passes, along with some fashion modeling from our volunteer escort!

Visit to National Naval Aviation Museum Caps Sun'n Fun Road Trip

By Carmelo Turdo
The Aero Experience Team visits aviation museums at every opportunity, usually within the Midwest region.  When there is an opportunity to go beyond our area to visit the great aviation museums across the nation, we will make the journey.  A visit to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida, was on the agenda as we accompanied the
Fly Now! The Movie crew on our return from Sun'n Fun 2015 in Lakeland.  The museum is legendary for its preservation and presentation of U.S. Naval Aviation artifacts in exhibits that contain far more than just aircraft.  The inclusion of attractions such as the Cubi Bar CafĂ©, Medal of Honor gallery, art gallery, and Blue Angels theater puts the visitor into the heart of past and present naval aviation.  We feature a few illustrations to encourage our audience to visit the museum when possible, especially during the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Homecoming in early November.
