EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018: Exhibitors - Around the Grounds and Major Attractions

By Fred Harl
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 exhibitors included a wide variety of aviation and related industry businesses, large and small. Some exhibits were fairly extravagant, while others were part of the large hangar exhibit areas we are sure to visit each year. We include here some of the larger exhibits, including the Brown Arch, Spirit of St. Louis replica at the EAA Museum, EAA Forums and Education Center, EAA Young Eagles, EAA Canada, EAA Museum jet fighter display and AOPA tent. We will continue with our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 exhibitors in the coming week.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017: Vintage Aircraft, Part 6

By Fred Harl
The Aero Experience coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017 continues with a look at the Vintage Aircraft Area and the aircraft we encountered around the grounds.  Our "definition" of the vintage aircraft may a bit more flexible than most, to include aircraft originating from the earliest years of aviation to the post World War II period, including some crossover into Warbird types when in civilian markings.  However you define them, Vintage Aircraft are aeronautical treasures to be enjoyed for as long as possible.

This week, in preparation for the Vintage Aeroplane Fly-In at Creve Coeur Airport on Saturday, we will feature all Vintage Aircraft in our EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017 coverage.
