Look Back on Southwestern Aero Experiences - Dallas-Fort Worth, Holloman AFB and Tinker AFB

By Mark Nankivil
The Aero Experience concludes our look back on recent trips to the southwest.  We occasionally  go outside our region to maintain our connections with our aviation friends and act as Midwest Aviation ambassadors.  This post features air traffic arrivals at Dallas-Fort Worth, the nearby Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base, Holloman AFB in New Mexico and Tinker AFB, OK.   Thanks to some great hosts, we were able to bring to our audience some views of the KC-135 tanker overhaul facility and the QF-4Es on their home apron.  Sadly, the QF-4E program is essentially over and these aircraft pictured likely no longer exist or are being reallocated to display or storage.
