Piston Aviation hosted their first Summer Discovery Flight Day at Creve Coeur Airport on Saturday. Due to the mostly overcast skies, the flights were limited to pattern work around the airport. Piston Aviation CFIs guided each flyer through the pre-flight inspection and gave a passenger safety briefing before taking off in one of the two Viper LSAs or the Piper Cherokee. Each guest was given personal attention and provided with practical steps with which to begin their flight training at Piston Aviation. Here we feature highlights from the event, including the discovery flights and tours of the hangar.
