The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum is making great progress in the restoration of its British Link D-4 instrument trainer. The museum, located in historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2 at St. Louis Downtown Airport, has been restoring this early 1950s vintage equipment for a few years, and today technicians Doug Bent and Mike Scruggs tested the instruments and recent electrical system repairs. The museum has this working D-4 trainer, as well as two additional older model 1940s Link trainers under restoration.
