Local Pilots Participate In Hecker, IL Memorial Day Ceremony

Members of the St. Louis Downtown Airport aviation community participated in the Memorial Day ceremony in nearby Hecker, IL.  Four aircraft based at the airport launched to support the annual event, including two Nanchang CJ-6s, one Beech T-34 Mentor and a Cessna 172.  The flying portion of the ceremony was arranged by members of EAA Chapter 64 that meets at historic 1929 Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2 at St. Louis Downtown Airport.  Here are some views of the aircraft returning to land after their flights:
