Thunder Over Louisville Preview

Thunder Over Louisville will officially begin tomorrow, but The Aero Experience was on site today at our observation post at Waterfront Park on the banks of the Ohio River for the orientation flights by the performers in the air show box.  Highlights include appearances by the USMC Harrier Demonstration Team, Jay "Flash" Gordon's L-39, Kentucky Air National Guard C-130 airdrop, U.S. Army Golden Knights, Canadian Harvards Aerobatic Team, Billy Werth's Pitts S-2C, Greg Colyer's T-33 Shooting Star "Ace Maker," formation flight with the P-51 Mustang, F-86 Sabre and T-33, Lee Leet's Super Tucano, Trojan Horsemen T-28 Team and an amphibian Carbon Cub performing several landings in the river.  Here is a sample of the air show coming Saturday:
