EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 featured several military airshow performers, and The Aero Experience coverage continues with the arrival of the USAF F-16 Viper East Demonstration Team from Shaw AFB, SC and the Heritage Flight with Vlado Lenoch in the P-51D Mustang Baby Duck. The two F-16s arrived on Monday, performing several fly-bys along with the P-51 in a unique three-ship Heritage Flight. The Heritage Flight program debuted in 1997 on the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force and has continued since then due to overwhelming popular demand from airshow audiences.
