The Aero Experience will resume our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017 in November with a look at some of the warbirds present during the week. Many people attend just to experience the variety of warbirds that are accessible in the Warbirds Area and in the air each day. Our warbirds selections include previous military aircraft from the World War II era to recent times, flown and maintained by civilian owners and non-profit organizations. The Aero Experience salutes those who brought their warbirds to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017 and other aviation events around the nation this year, and we look forward to another great year of warbirds in 2018.Here is a sample of the Warbirds Area facilities and some of the aircraft on display and flying:
