Sparta, IL Community Airport Fly-In 2018: Helicopters

The Aero Experience continues our coverage of Midwest Aviation rotorcraft operations with a look at the 2018 Sparta, IL Community Airport Fly-In held September 15. Among the aircraft flying and on display were several Magni gyrocopters, an Air Methods Bell Helicopter 407, a Robinson R44, an experimental Safari (similar in appearance to the classic Bell 47) and an MD Helicopters NOTAR MD-600N. The well-attended event was a showcase of general aviation aircraft and rotorcraft, and more coverage featuring other aircraft types is coming soon.
