Big River Aviation continues to grow and serve more customers in their larger, centrally-located
facility at the West Terminal of St. Louis Downtown Airport. Along with having
direct access to the apron, this location offers hangar space to service multiple single and twin piston-engine aircraft with ample storage and office space as well. Big River Aviation provides aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs and avionics upgrades performed by highly experienced maintenance technicians. Big River
Aviation currently maintains the St. Louis Flight Training fleet along
with the company's own Cessna 172.
The Aero Experience regularly posts examples of aircraft serviced by Big River Aviation along with stories and videos of the photo flights we have taken in recent years. Featured below are views from recent visits to Big River Aviation as we continue our partnership promoting Midwest Aviation:
Big River Aviation continues to seek opportunities to support aviation service programs and help new customers in their time of need. One long-term project that continues toward completion is the preparation of a Piper Geronimo, a remanufactured and upgraded Apache, for use by Manos de Compasion children's home in Guatemala. We will have more on this story in the near future, but some of the children have already sent notes thanking Big River Aviation for preparing the aircraft that will help them live in very difficult circumstances. Also shown here is Big River Aviation owner Paul Voorhees assisting a visiting survey crew with some minor adjustments to the engine of their Cessna 206 on the west apron of St. Louis Downtown Airport.
