The Fifteenth Annual Midwest LSA Expo, held September 7-9 at Mount Vernon Outland Airport in central Illinois, featured the return of Bristell Aircraft among a wide variety of other light sport aircraft brands. Bristell Midwest was represented by Piston Aviation with two Bristell 912 LSA aircraft used daily for flight training out of Creve Coeur Airport in St. Louis. Piston Aviation staff, including owners Joe and Meghen Ord and several CFIs who know the aircraft well, were available during the event to meet with visitors and provide demo flights with potential customers.
The Bristell exhibit is featured below. CFIs Josh and Brant fly their signature two-ship takeoff and recovery technique used to reduce their pattern time during the peak traffic hours and give their riders a fantastic view from the bubble canopy.
