Looking Forward to the Cape Girardeau, MO Air Festival by Looking Back: 2008

By Leo Cachet

The 2008 show was a one-day event held on July 4th. The show was put together at the last second, and was free to the public. It also included a night show. Participants included: Julie Clark in her T-34 Mentor, Mike Rinker in his SU-26, Angel 7, Paul Stender and his Dodge Ramjet truck, Lima Lima Flight Team and the U.S. Army Golden Knights. This show, although small, was very entertaining, combining top-tier acts with a medium-sized airport venue.  Here are some views of the 2008 event.
