Boeing F-15SA Makes Second, Longer Flight From St. Louis

The Boeing F-15SA (Saudi Advanced) Eagle flew again Friday on a two-hour test flight, taking off solo from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and later returning to land accompanied by an L-39 chase plane from Air USA.  This is the second in a series of test flights that will involve three aircraft through October before resuming at Palmdale, CA.  The updated fly-by-wire control system is undergoing normal testing and refinement, which will continue during flight envelope expansion in the coming months.  The Aero Experience was there to capture the second flight of the F-15SA Friday afternoon:
