Fair St. Louis Arrivals: Aeroshell Aerobatic Team and Younkin Airshows

Airshow performers arrived at St. Louis Downtown Airport Monday and Tuesday in preparation for the return of the Fair St. Louis airshow on July 4 after a four-year absence. The Aero Experience was there today to meet two of the headliners, the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team and Younkin Airshows. The performers are hosted this year by Ideal Aviation, the FBO on the west apron. The Members of the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team landed and parked their four North American Texans by mid morning, and they flew two flights with sponsors and local media representatives between noon and 1:00 P.M. Shortly thereafter, we met Matt Younkin and Jeff Gibbs as they worked on the Beech 18 in the hangar.
