EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2012: A Two x A Two = A-4 Skyhawks
By Fred Harl
One can expect to see almost any type of aerial craft at EAA AirVenture, and of course this year's event provided a wide variety from which to choose. Today's choice is the pair of A-4 Skyhawks that were available for close examination by attendees. An A-4C, b/n 149606, from Skyhawk Ventures and an A-4B, b/n 142112, from the Warbird Heritage Foundation were both beautifully restored to factory-fresh condition. The following photos could have been taken in the late 1950s, but thanks to these two great organizations, they were taken only a few months ago. For more information on these aircraft, please visit http://skyhawkventures.com/ and http://warbirdheritagefoundation.org/.
