No doubt countless packages arrived at Oshkosh by preferred shipping provider Fedex before, during and after EAA AirVenture, but it seems Fedex left one of its planes as a special delivery exhibit. A 1996 Airbus A300F4-605R freighter named "Ethan" was on display next to the Orbis DC-10, illustrating the generational technology shift from wide-body tri-jet to twin-jet design. I was on my way to the Orbis DC-10 so I kept my tour to the outside of the Airbus. Here are some walk-around views:
