The Aero Experience Partnership Announcement

The Aero Experience is proud to announce a formal partnership with The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum to promote Midwest Aviation from the museum's location at historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2, St. Louis Downtown Airport.  The objectives of The Aero Experience and those of The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum are compatible to the point where a natural synergy has developed between both groups.  "It was a natural choice to partner with The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum," said The Aero Experience Founder and Museum Board Member Carmelo Turdo.  "Our team was naturally drawn to the museum due to its incredible collection of aerospace artifacts and aircraft, its nationally recognized archives, knowledgeable staff and ideal location at St. Louis Downtown Airport just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis.  The Museum, airport management, and everyone at the airport are so helpful and accommodating to our project needs, and we want to establish our base of operations at this thriving hub of Midwest Aviation."

The Aero Experience advocates for Midwest Aviation through the presentation of first-hand media features while encouraging our audience to experience aviation for themselves.  "The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum is an excellent place for anyone to begin that aero experience by providing a unique combination of educational materials and activities that engage visitors of all ages," Turdo continued.  Beyond the museum's own exhibits, additional resources are available through its other associations around the  airport, including EAA Chapter 64, Gateway Area Ultralight Assciation, St. Louis Biplane Rides, featuring Kevin Kegin's 1941 Waco UPF-7, neighboring FBO Ideal Aviation, and the recently donated FedEx Express Boeing 727.

The Aero Experience is pleased to recognize the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum for its support of Midwest Aviation and our team's operational needs.  We encourage you to visit the Museum for the Summer Fly-In on June 15 or any other weekend, Friday-Sunday, 10am-4pm.
