EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Warbirds - Memorials and Encampment

http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The Aero Experience will wrap up our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015, sponsored by Air Associates, with a series covering the many warbird types seen during our ten days on the grounds.  The aircraft in this series will include familiar favorites along with some very unique types making rare appearances.  These great aircraft served the nation roughly during the World War II to Vietnam War period, and represent the service and sacrifices made by our military veterans and their families during and between these conflicts.  This series will present the aircraft as the means for achieving and maintaining peace, with respect for those who perished as a result of their use. 

This first feature will include a brief view of the Warbirds Area memorials and the reenactor encampment:
