Farmington Regional Airport Hosts Variety of Aircraft, Military Helicopter Fuel Stop
By Fred Harl
Farmington Regional Airport in southeast Missouri serves a variety of customers daily, including a steady number of military helicopter units transiting the Midwest. On a recent visit, we saw several types of business twins on the apron, and later in the day a Farmington native U.S. Army Apache helicopter pilot made a fuel stop on his flight to his unit at Fort Drum, NY. Family and friends turned out to welcome him during the stopover.
