Flying With The Aero Experience: Fall Foliage and Winter Ice From Above

By Fred Harl
Winter has not released its grip of the Midwest just yet, but with April comes at least the hope of some warmer, if not wetter, weather. While we wait for spring, we begin our Flying With The Aero Experience series with a look back at some photo flights from fall and winter 2017/2018.
The fall colors peaked in early November, and that was the perfect time for a scenic flight over St. Francois County, MO and surrounding areas. In January, several flights were made over the Mississippi River in the Ste. Genevieve, MO area to show the ice flows resulting from a brief warm spell. We hope you enjoy this look back at these scenic flights, and as always, we encourage you to experience Midwest Aviation for yourself.
