The
Aero Experience recently visited Creve Coeur Airport, home to many types of
general aviation aircraft and destination for others passing through the St.
Louis area. The concrete runway 16/34 is
75' x 4500', and there is significant ramp space for transients. There is also a turf runway 7/25 that is 220'
x 3120'. The airport is host to the
annual American Waco Club Fly-In (coming this weekend), Monocoupe Club Fly-In, Stearman Flight, the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum and
monthly meetings of the Missouri Aviation Historical Society. The following photos show the variety of
general aviation aircraft seen at Creve Coeur Airport last weekend.
