Elite Aviation Open House Is Great Community Event

By Carmelo Turdo
Elite Aviation, the premier St. Louis flight school and aircraft service provider based at Spirit of St. Louis Airport, hosted their annual open house event on Saturday. Visitors were welcomed to the Elite Aviation West Terminal apron to check out the modern training fleet and other aircraft on display. Plenty of food and refreshments were provided, and kids had lots of activities to enjoy. "Test Flights" were available to those interested in pursuing flight training, and special guests, the Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, flew in their World War II-era TBM Avenger and B-25J Mitchell bomber named Show Me. Several unique aircraft, such as the SubSonex personal jet, Rutan LongEZ and Icon A5 amphibian, were also on display along with new aircraft from Textron Aviation (Cessna and Beechcraft). Our friends from Wings of Hope, Air Evac Lifeteam and Metro Police Air Support also flew in to display their aircraft.
Great people, great aircraft and great weather made a great community event!

The Aero Experience will post our coverage of the event throughout the coming week. Here we have just a sample of our great aero experience:
