The Aero Experience resumes our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with a look at the opening act for the daily airshows - The Patriot Parachute Demonstration Team. Owned and operated by military veterans, the team jumps from military and civilian aircraft clad in their striking red and black uniforms. Trailing red smoke and a giant U.S. flag, the team members fly joined together and split off dramatically just before landing. Here we feature the team performing on several days during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019. Monday's opening act included the Patriots accompanied by the EAA's North American P-64 and a Christen Eagle aerobatic biplane.
