Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

Evening Visit to Creve Coeur Airport

By Carmelo Turdo
The Aero Experience returned to Creve Coeur Airport Thursday evening, home to a variety of general aviation, vintage and warbird aircraft types. The concrete runway 16/34 is 75' x 4500', and the turf runway 7/25 that is 220' x 3120'.  The airport is host to the annual American Waco Club Fly-In, Monocoupe Club Fly-In, Stearman Flight, the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum and the meetings of the Missouri Aviation Historical Society. During our twilight visit, we saw our friends at Gateway Flight Training and the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation Gateway Chapter.
