Salute to Veterans Corporation Airshow A Major Midwest Memorial Day Success

The 24th annual Salute to Veterans Corporation Memorial Day airshow held at Columbia Regional Airport in Missouri this weekend was another shining example of an excellent Midwest aero experience.  The weekend airshow is just part of a series of events to honor our veterans, which also included living history programs, Salute to Veterans Parade, and Memorial Day ceremony at the Boone County Courthouse.  During the airshow, an hour-long ceremony occurs at midday to remember the local veterans who lost their lives in military service, and to recognize honored guests who have contributed to the security of this nation over the years.  Here are some views of the performers and static displays at Saturday's airshow:
