http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 featured exhibitors from the consumer and industrial vehicle industries, and three of these companies were prominently visible on the grounds all week.  Ford Motor Company, a major sponsor, was centrally positioned just off Boeing Centennial Plaza, and was home to the autograph tent, concert stage, family play area and the 2016 themed Ford Mustang named Ole Yeller in salute to legendary pilot, the Late Bob Hoover.  The Mustang was auctioned off during the week, raising $295,000 for EAA and the Young Eagles Program.  Also hard to miss on the grounds nearby was the Oshkosh Corporation Striker airport fire apparatus, manufactured within sight of the airport.  Oshkosh Corporation is well known for designing and building extremely rugged vehicles for civilian and military use. and have featured various vehicles on display over the years.  Also of great interest was the Slingshot exhibit, where several three-wheeled vehicles were on display, as we show, rain or shine!
