St. Louis Downtown Airport Attracts Variety of Aircraft

On any given day, the casual observer may see a variety of aircraft arriving and departing from St. Louis Downtown Airport. Illinois' third busiest airport hosts an increasing number of aviation businesses and privately-owned aircraft, and it experiences peak air traffic on the days when sports events, concerts and conventions are held in St. Louis. During several recent days, this collection of photos was gathered showing a number of transients and locally-based aircraft from Ideal Aviation, St. Louis Flight Training, Aero Careers, Parks College and North American Helicopter (Fostaire) among others.
