This edition of Flying with Fred features some spring destinations spanning from southeastern Missouri to Tennessee. We begin with an aerial view of high river levels in local waterways around Farmington, MO. A visit to A. Paul Vance Regional Airport in nearby Fredericktown shows the recently paved taxiways, comfortable terminal building and even a flight bag and log book dating to World War II. We conclude with a stop to see the Thunderbirds F-4E Phantom II on display at VFW Post 5146 in Athens, TN.
