Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

Fair St. Louis Brings Back Matt Younkin and His Beech C-18S "Magic By Moonlight"

Fair St. Louis again featured one of the more unusual aerobatic acts around, Matt Younkin and his Beech C-18S, "Magic by Moonlight."  Matt Younkin continues the family tradition of providing original aerial entertainment for national audiences, this time flying the Twin Beech C-18S in dramatic rolls and loops over the St. Louis Mississippi Riverfront and again over St. Louis Downtown Airport last weekend.  Younkin's aircraft also served as the carrier for the parachutists who opened each airshow.  The act is also available for night aerobatics, making the already amazing performance even more memorable.  Younkin and his crew chief, Jeff Gibbs, were very friendly and accommodating to our presence on the ramp, and we now bring you a photo essay on the performances over several days of Fair St. Louis:
