Variety of Aircraft and Great Weather at Sullivan Regional Airport Fly-In Provide Opportunities for Photographic Art
By Leo Cachet
A great variety of aircraft and perfect weather at last weekend's Sullivan Regional Airport Fly-In provided an ideal backdrop for creative photography. The aircraft providing Young Eagle flights ranged from the two-seat LongEZ and Ercoupe to the more conventional Cessna 172, Cirrus SR20 and Socata Tampico. Other aircraft at the Fly-In, such as Pitts Special, more Ercoupes, Rans S-7s and other home-builts, were emblazoned in contrasting colors that photographers count on for great results. Even the military colors of the Missouri CAF B-25J, TBM Avenger and L-3 made these warbirds stand out among the others on the ramp. Here is another look at the Fly-In participants.
