Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

Piper Week, Part 2: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 Piper Aircraft General Aviation Collection

The Aero Experience continues our Piper Week mini-series with another selection from our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation. In Part 1 of this series, we featured the Piper Aircraft exhibit, which included a look at the Pilot 100 basic trainer and the M-Series piston and turboprop-powered models. In Part 2 below, we present a survey of the Piper aircraft types seen in general traffic during the week, many of which were captured during the Saturday exodus at week's end. You may see your aircraft if you attended this year.

 Piper Cherokee and Archer Family

Piper Comanche and Twin Comanche

Piper Saratoga Family

Piper Seneca and Seminole

Piper Cub Special, Tomahawk and M-Series
