Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

Blue skies,

Piper Week, Part 3: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 Piper Aircraft in the Vintage Area Aero Experience continues our Piper Week Mini-Series with a look at the Piper aircraft parked in the Vintage Area at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 during our 10-day coverage sponsored by Elite Aviation. There were a variety of aircraft types to be found in the Vintage Area, from the earliest remaining restored aircraft from the 1920s through those from the 1950s and 1960s that are still regularly flown in the general aviation world. Aircraft types, such as the Piper Comanche, have their own community parking areas.

Below we will feature several Piper aircraft types that congregated together in the Vintage Area, including:

Piper Cub, Super Cruiser and Super Cub

Piper Pacer and Tri-Pacer

Piper Comanche and Twin Comanche
