EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Boeing Plaza - T-6 Texan II and T-38 Talon

The Aero Experience continues our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with more aircraft on display in Boeing Plaza. Here we feature the current U.S. Air Force trainers, the Raytheon T-6 Texan II and Northrop T-38 Talon. The Texan II is the basic training aircraft used by the USAF, USN, RCAF and allied forces. It is capable of fulfilling the light attack mission as well. The Talon serves in the advanced training role in the USAF and in the NATO forces Joint Jet Pilot Training Program at Sheppard AFB, TX. The T-38 is also used for chase plane missions for new aircraft development flights and by NASA.
