EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Michael Collins and Joe Engle Media Event

The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with this look at an appearance by astronauts Michael Collins and Joe Engle for the media before their public event on Friday, July 26, 2019 in the Theater in the Woods. Both are legendary figures in aviation and aerospace, with their accomplishments as test pilots and astronauts most prominently discussed in their public appearances (see links to their biographies above). Both Collins and Engle reflected on their experiences at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, recounted their early military flight training experiences, and gave their views on the future of space exploration to the moon and Mars.
