EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Warbird Fighters - Vought Corsair
The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with this look at the Vought Corsair. In production from 1941 to 1952, the Corsair became a legend in the Pacific Theater of Operations in World War II and later served valiantly in Korea and with other nations around the world. Its versatility, sheer performance and ruggedness kept the Corsair in service into the 1970s in Honduras.
