Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

More Arrivals and Flying at American Waco Club Annual Fly-In

By Carmelo Turdo
The American Waco Club held day two of the annual Fly-In activities at Creve Coeur Airport near St. Louis today.  More aircraft arrived and parked in the grass near the available runways, and several aircraft went for flights during this hot and humid day.  The cumulus clouds were building throughout the afternoon, and a brief rain fell around 3pm.  That did not dampen the spirits of Waco owners from the St. Louis area and throughout the country as they enjoyed good food and fellowship.  It is interesting to note that two Waco YKS-7s N17474/4613 and N14741/4614 were parked side by side today.  No. 4613 is owned by our friend Mark Harter, and always stands out as the prettiest bird of the bunch.  The Aero Experience was again at Creve Coeur Airport and present some of our photos from today's Fly-In:
