EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013: Flight for the Human Spirit In a Remos Light Sport Aircraft

http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/Aviation provides fertile ground for adventures and flights that expand the capabilities of mankind and flying machines in different aircraft categories.  One man has made it his life's mission to inspire others to achieve their dreams as he travels the country in his light sport aircraft.  To demonstrate this attitude in motion, Michael Combs, founder of the Flight for the Human Spirit, set a coast-to-coast speed record in his Remos light sport aircraft upon his arrival in Charleston, South Carolina June 21.  On April 9, 2010, Combs landed at Spirit of St. Louis Airport shortly after beginning his flight to all fifty states in the same Remos light sport aircraft, and The Aero Experience was there to interview him.  We also talked with Michael during our stay at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013 at the Remos exhibit and captured these photos and video conversation as he described the preparations for the recent record flight.  We salute Michael Combs, and hope to visit with him again soon as he continues to inspire us to pursue and fulfill our dreams in life.
